Sean LaGran (born Shaun Bryant) is an American record producer, songwriter, poet, and fashion designer based in Atlanta, GA. Known for genre-defying work, LaGran creates cinematic, eclectic, hip-hop–rooted music that blends score-like arrangements with experimental, urban textures across Alternative Rap, Pop, and sync-ready sounds.

Born in Brooklyn, NY and raised in Richmond, VA, his sound reflects a deep exposure to multiple eras and genres. LaGran began his professional journey in his early 20s through songwriting and engineering, building his career through hands-on networking and word of mouth. He has collaborated with independent and major-label artists, A&Rs, producers, and publishers before focusing on establishing his own signature sound and brand.

An exclusive producer, LaGran views his compositions as concept-driven “prototypes,” choosing to work directly with artists, A&Rs, and labels rather than licensing platforms. His philosophy is simple: don’t conform to the world—make the world conform to you.

Influences include Dillon Francis (via his alter ego DJ Hanzel), Timbaland, Pharrell Williams, and Kanye West.
